Books

  • Guess What I Am?

“I am weird and just downright bizarre. I have a trunk like an elephant, the marking of a panda and I love to swim just like a hippo! Can you guess what I am?”

  • Look! What Color Am I?

"Colors of all shades and hues surround us. Come meet the RED macaw that squawks, the ORANGE orangutan that never once combed his shaggy fur, and the grumpy GREEN frog that will not join you for a cup of afternoon tea".

  • Specially Me

"I am big and you are so small. I am fast and you are slow. We are just so different you and me.

We compete and compare to see who is more special, is it me or you? But why bother, when the fun awaits us!"

John Dodo, gone but not forgotten (1598-1681)

Just what a Dodo looked like is still a mystery, some described them as being fat and wobbly, while others recalled them as being a slender bird.  One of the most famous and often copied paintings of a dodo specimen was taken from the painting done by Roelant Savery in 1626, and this is my interpretation as a commemoration to the loathsome bird of Mauritius with a Victorian/Gothic touch.

Granny Su

Granny Su is a Naturalist who used to own a zoo back in the old days.  When it was time for her to retire, she sold her zoo and moved in together with some of her best pals, a Rhino, a Lion, a baby Hippo, 2 Meerkats and a snake named Blu (who are too, retired).  Now Granny Su loves to read bedtime rhymes for her animals right before bed.  Snuggle and cuddle as the animals snooze off into the dreamland.
